Tailored to your body.
At Sacramento Massage Body Mechanic, we tailor each massage to meet your unique needs, blending relaxation with therapeutic techniques for ultimate healing and rejuvenation.
Two paths. One pair of hands.
Relaxation for stress and overall wellbeing. Deep tissue and trigger point for chronic pain, injury, and tension that won't let go.
Relaxation
Relaxation helps reduce stress and create a general sense of wellbeing — rather than targeting a specific pain or dysfunction.
Deep Tissue + Trigger Point
Deep tissue massage targets the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue using slow, deliberate strokes with firm pressure. Unlike a relaxation massage, the goal is to break up adhesions that form from injury, inflammation, or chronic tension — restoring normal movement and function.
Trigger point therapy focuses on specific tight spots within muscle tissue. Small hypersensitive knots form when muscle fibers contract and get stuck in that state. They often cause referred pain, meaning the discomfort shows up somewhere other than where the knot actually is. A trigger point in your shoulder, for example, might cause a headache.
Built for bodies that need more.
- Chronic muscle pain — back, neck, and shoulder tension that hasn't responded to lighter massage
- Athletes — recovery, performance, and treating sports injuries like pulled muscles or IT band syndrome
- Postural problems — rounded shoulders or lower back pain from prolonged sitting
- Injury recovery — whiplash, repetitive strain, or scar tissue from surgeries
- Fibromyalgia or sciatica — can reduce pain and improve mobility when done gently and consistently
- High-stress lives — chronic stress often manifests as deep muscle tension that surface-level techniques can't reach
- Frozen shoulder — when the shoulder joint becomes progressively stiff, painful, and severely limited in range of motion

What clients say.
"I recently hurt my neck and went to see Laurice, and I truly believe she has magic hands. She took the time to really get to know me and understand the challenges I was facing. I even told her she has the hands of an angel."
"By far the BEST masseuse in Sacramento. I have been to many spas in my life, however this is by far the most beneficial massage in my opinion. I opt for the deep tissue, try her you wont regret it."
"The best deep tissue massage so far. I have gone through my chiropractor for years and this is something different and lasting. Great price."
"The best hands down (no pun intended) massage I've had in a lot of years. She is very detail oriented and heavily focuses on my injuries. With her help I am now back in the gym and running again."
"I have been seeing Laurice regularly for a couple years. Her environment is calm and welcoming. She is great at deep tissue massage, helping me with chronic pain, carpal tunnel and stress."
"I had my first massage with Laurice, it was great. Then I went to other people, thinking they all do the same thing. I was wrong. So I went back to her. She pays attention to details and really helps work out my knots."
